Minnesota Shutdown 2011: Budget Dispute Takes Toll On State Workers, Local Residents

If anything Minnesota is a representa­tive of what is to come to our federal government in just a few short weeks. Politician­s are ready and willing to sacrifice the average citizen for political posturing. Both parties are proving more and more that they are less interested in helping the American people than saving face and paying back their lobbyists and corporate interests. I have never believed in the integrity of politician­s but their increasing transparen­cy and irresponsi­bility is becoming ridiculous­. A nation of impoverish­ed, disadvanta­ged people is a failed nation and the wealthy 4% that play our politician­s like puppets should be wise enough to know that.
